At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Porto Seguro to start this guided tour of the historic center of the city, a real journey into the past!
During the walk, we'll discover the history of Porto Seguro, founded after the arrival of Pedro Álvares Cabral to this part of Brazil in the 16th century. The deeper we go into the old town, the more beauty we'll uncover and understand why it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000.
Porto Seguro is like an open-air museum! Its streets are full of perfectly preserved colonial homes, vestiges of Portuguese colonization.
We'll continue discovering Porto Seguro by visiting three 16th-century churches and, to put the finishing touch to the activity, we'll watch a capoeira show in the center of town. Are you familiar with this typical Brazilian martial art? This is your chance to see it live!
