Do you want to feel the adrenaline and be the king of the waves for a day? With this surf lesson, you’ll control your movements and ride the Atlantic on the wide beach of Matosinhos.

Activity Details

Ready to release adrenaline and become kings of the waves for a day? We’ll meet and head to Matosinhos Beach, the perfect setting to ride the Atlantic. Once there, our team will welcome you and provide the equipment best suited to your level and build: a surfboard and a high-quality wetsuit.

Before heading into the sea, we’ll give a clear and engaging explanation on the sand. This stage is essential to make the most of the experience, as you’ll learn the correct pop-up technique, proper body position to keep your balance, and basic safety and respect rules in the water. This is the key moment to build confidence!

Then comes the most anticipated part. We’ll get into the water to enjoy a full hour of real practice. You’ll have constant support from the instructor, who’ll help you paddle correctly, catch your first waves, and improve your stability in a safe and fun way. The session is dynamic and fully adapted to each person’s pace.

After enjoying the true feeling of surfing, we’ll return to our facilities to change and chat about the best moments of the day before ending the activity.

Activity Options

When booking, you can choose between the following 2 options:

Tour without pickup: with this option, we’ll meet in Matosinhos (Av. Gen. Norton de Matos 369). The total duration of the activity is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Tour from Porto: if you’d prefer us to take care of everything, this option includes round-trip transport. We’ll meet at Campo 24 de Agosto, in central Porto, and travel to the beach. Including transfers and the surf lesson, the total duration of the experience will be around 3 hours.

Class Schedule

There are 2 daily classes, one at 11:30 am and another at 3 pm. Please note that pickup in Porto will take place 30 minutes earlier.
