At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Porto and start a 1.5-hour drive to the Arouca Geopark.
Once in the park, we'll set off on a walk to discover the 516 Arouca, the world's longest pedestrian bridge. We'll climb around 300 steps to reach the incredible 516 Arouca. Standing 175 m (574 ft) above the River Paiva, crossing it will be an unforgettable experience! As we walk, we’ll tell you all about this structure and you’ll be amazed by the stunning views of the Aguieira waterfall.
After taking in this panoramic view, we’ll set off on a hike through the Pasadizos del Paiva, an 8 km hike perfect to commune with nature.
You'll traverse the wooden walkways that border the river for three hours. Waterfalls, mountains, passages, gorges, and much more await you. And thanks to the tour guide, during the walk you'll learn all about this unique environment.
At the end of the hike, we'll enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch. You'll be able to taste the famous Arouquesa meat and a Portuguese spirit, the pinguça. Is there a better way to gather our strength?
We'll drop you back at your hotel in Porto after a 9-hour trip and say our goodbyes.
