Private Tour of Poznań
Private Tours of Poznań
When you make your booking, you can choose any of the following three options:
Walking Tour of Poznań (3 hours)
This walking tour will start outside the cathedral at Ostrów Tumski, known as Cathedral Island After discovering more about the history of this monument, which is one of the oldest churches in Poland, we'll cross the River Warta over the Chrobry Bridge and head towards the city's old town. In this area of the city, we'll see the beautiful Stary Rynek, also known as Market Square, where you'll be able to admire the imposing architecture of the City Hall. We'll also enter the History Museum (closed on Mondays). We'll continue this guided walking tour past the Franciscan Church, where we will also take a look at the extraordinary model of the old town of Poznań.
We'll finish the tour in Liberty Square, a large public space surrounded by stunning buildings such as the National Museum, the old Hotel Bazar and the Raczyński Library.
Schedule: This tour runs Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Panoramic Tour of Poznań (4 hours)
We'll start the tour by picking you up from your hotel in Poznań and starting our panoramic tour in a private vehicle at the Mickiewicz Square, where the local opera house, Wielki can be found, as can the Mickiewicz University and the famous Imperial Castle. After finding about the area's history, we'll then head to Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island) to, unsurprisingly, admire the Cathedral. From here, we'll head to the historic centre where you'll enjoy a guided tour of the Market and Liberty Squares. Not only that, but we'll also make our way to the Franciscan Church, where you can check out the model of the old town of Poznań.
Finally, we'll leave Liberty Square and take you back to your hotel.
Schedule: This tour runs Monday to Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Tour of Poznań + Beer Tasting (5 hours)
The first part of this tour will be the same as the walking tour of Poznań. However, once we finish the tour, we'll go into a traditional brewery. In this establishment, we'll learn about the production techniques of "the blonde drink" and enjoy tasting one of its varieties. After the beer tasting, we'll take you back to the centre of Poznan.
Schedule: This tour runs Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm.
Important Info:
- Alcoholic beverages will only be served to persons over the age of 18.
- The guided tour of the brewery will be conducted by a guide who speaks English, German, and Russian.
Meeting Point
For both the walking tour and the tour + brewery visit, the meeting point will be outside the main entrance to the cathedral. However, for the panoramic tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Poznań.
