Tour Details
We’ll begin this experience by meeting on Juan de Palafox y Mendoza Avenue, right in the heart of Puebla’s Zócalo, the city’s center. Once we’re settled in the tram, we’ll set off on our tour as the nighttime lighting transforms the colonial buildings. Here we go!
Along the way, you’ll admire the majestic illuminated cathedral and other iconic landmarks, all accompanied by live commentary from the guide, who will bring the area’s most famous Day of the Dead legends to life.
Along the route, we’ll make a stop to treat your taste buds. During the regular season, you’ll visit the famous street lined with traditional sweets to sample local delicacies such as sweet potatoes, Santa Clara pancakes, or borrachitos. If you take the tour during the Day of the Dead festivities, you’ll enjoy a tasting of traditional pan de muerto.
To finish up this unforgettable evening, the tram will take you to the tour’s final stop, where you’ll sample authentic Puebla-style chalupas: small tortillas fried in lard, topped with green or red salsa, and served with onions and shredded meat. So delicious!
1 hour and 20 minutes later, we’ll wrap up the tour at the starting point.
