Description

At the time you choose, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and set off on an hour's journey to Higüey: the capital of the Dominican province La Altagracia.

First, we'll visit a ranch, where we'll go horse riding - the best way to start the day! After admiring the natural landscapes of Higüe on horseback, we'll go to the Basilica-Cathedral of Our Lady of Altagracia. We'll see the exterior of this modern sanctuary, located in the centre of Higüey, which is consecrated to one of the most venerated virgins by the Dominicans. During the visit to the temple, we'll appreciate its unique architecture.

We'll continue our excursion to the Higüey Market, where we'll see the great variety of exotic fruits in its stalls. Don't you think it's the best place to recharge your batteries? We'll enjoy a full traditional Dominican lunch at the market. After lunch, we'll continue the tour learning about the important coffee, cocoa and tobacco industries.

To help us learn about the tobacco industry, we'll head to a tobacco factory. Do you know how this typical product is produced? We'll learn about the main techniques in this factory that has been making cigars by hand for generations. You'll be amazed!

Finally, we'll go to the paradisiacal Macao beach, where we'll make a short photo stop. Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel and end the tour 4 hours later.
