Explore the scenery of one of the most beautiful spots in Uruguay– Cabo Polonio National Park. Also, you'll stroll along the wild beaches of La Pedrera and La Paloma.
Cabo Polonio Private Day Trip
We'll pick you up at your hotel around 10 am and start our journey to the beach of La Pedrera, located on the Uruguayan coast of Rocha. This area is made up of several seaside resorts and coastal towns, where we'll see golden sandy beaches and rock formations on the shore.
Then we'll continue our day trip north until we reach the terminal of Cabo. We'll swap our vehicle for a 4x4 to drive along the sandy roads that lead us to Cabo Polonio National Park. We'll discover this natural reserve inhabited by only fifty people and we'll admire the three islets known as Islas Torres (Torres Islands) located near the shore.
Next, we'll visit the most iconic landmark in Cabo Polonio– its lighthouse. We'll learn about the history of this 200-year-old building and discover why it was declared a historical monument.
After enjoying some free time on the beach, we'll set off again to visit the beach resort of La Paloma, where you'll watch the sun setting over the Uruguayan beaches.
Finally, after a day exploring the beautiful nature of Cabo Polonio, we'll arrive at the hotel in Punta del Este at around 8 pm.
