Private Day Trip to Piriápolis
Once we pick you up from your hotel, we will embark on a scenic 45-minute drive to Piriápolis, the first coastal resort town of Uruguay. Our trip will take us through the charming mountain scenery and white sandy beaches that make this place so unique.
Our first stop will be San Antonio Hill, famous for its white chapel located at the summit. You will have the option of descending via cable car to visit the renowned Rambla Avenue, where we'll pass by Punta Colorada, La Cascada, and the Wildlife Museum.
We'll then visit Piria Castle, the residence of Francisco Piria, the alchemist who founded Piriápolis. Here, we'll learn about the origins and history of the city before proceeding to Sugarloaf Mountain, the third-highest peak in Uruguay.
To complete our tour, we'll visit a nature reserve full of native wildlife where you'll get the chance to admire leopards, crocodiles, and exotic birds in semi-captivity.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel around 2 pm.
