We'll begin this tour of Punta del Este from the cruise terminal, where we'll pick you up when your ship docks. Are you ready to discover Uruguay's southernmost city?
First, we'll tour the neighbourhoods of San Rafael, Cantegril, and Beverly Hills. From the vehicle, we'll admire the luxurious homes in these districts and discover which famous celebrities reside there.
After admiring the main mansions in these areas, we'll continue the tour by admiring the famous undulating bridge of La Barra del Maldonado. We'll discover why this footbridge has such a unique shape, and then we'll continue on to Brava Beach. In this cove, we'll see the iconic sculpture of La Mano, a work by Mario Irarrázabal that depicts five fingers emerging from the sand.
Our next stop will be at the Casapueblo Museum, a beautiful Mediterranean-style villa where we'll visit the former workshop of Uruguayan artist Carlos Páez Vilaró. We'll also discover the architecture of this striking complex, which, in addition to an art gallery, houses a café and a luxury hotel.
Finally, we'll enjoy beautiful panoramic views from Punta Ballena and begin our return journey to the cruise terminal in Punta del Este, where we'll conclude this 3.5-hour tour.
