Golden Circle Tour for Cruise Ships
Tour Details
We'll be waiting for you at the Reykjavik cruise port, where we'll board a bus to head toward the Golden Circle, one of Iceland's most popular tourist routes.
After a drive of approximately 45 minutes, we’ll arrive at Thingvellir National Park. Once there, you'll have 45 minutes of free time to explore the area and stroll through this landscape surrounded by crystal-clear waters and filled with moss and wildflowers. Did you know you can see the rift between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates? Impressive!
Next, we'll continue our tour of Iceland’s Golden Circle in Geysir, famous for being the birthplace of geysers, as this amazing natural phenomenon was first observed there.
To let you enjoy these water eruptions in all their glory, we'll give you about 1.5 hours of free time. During this time, you can grab a bite to eat at any of the cafés in the visitor center and, of course, marvel at the Strokkur geyser.
Our next stop will be at Gullfoss, known as the Golden Waterfall. Upon arrival, you’ll have about 45 minutes to be captivated by its 104 feet (32 m) drop of glacial water. It will leave you speechless!
After a 7-hour tour, we'll return to the port of Reykjavík with plenty of time for you to board your cruise ship without any rush.
