Adventurers, are you looking for one of the best hiking trails on the island of Santo Antão? We'll pick you up at your hotel in Ribeira Grande and start a trek through Ponta do Sol and Fontainhas.
We'll leave Ribeira Grande behind and head to the beginning of the trail. The wild nature of Cape Verde awaits us on this route, characterized by huge cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and the green valleys so typical of the area.
To begin, we'll start walking from the town of Ponta do Sol. Little by little, we'll ascend the steep mountains while admiring the panoramic view of the Atlantic until we reach the fishing village of Fontainhas. Did you know that it is one of the villages with the best views in the world?
From here, we'll continue walking along the trails to reach Cruzinha, a charming coastal village that will leave us again with an unforgettable scene, the finishing touch to the trek!
Finally, after a hard but unforgettable trekking route between Ponta do Sol and Fontainhas, we'll return to your hotel 6 hours later.
