Meet your English-speaking tour guide at 12:30 pm next to Laima Clock. From here, you'll begin your free walking tour around central Riga, where a third of all buildings follow the renowned architectural trend of the late 19th and early 20th centuries: Art Nouveau style.
Next, you'll stroll over to Elizabetes, where you'll be captivated by the numerous Art Nouveau buildings that line the street. One of the most famous structures is located at number 10. What will you find there? From peacocks to dramatic masks, the stone carvings decorating its exterior are absolutely spectacular.
Continue on your free tour of Riga to Albert Street, known for being home to a number of embassies, as well as for its striking Art Nouveau architecture. Admire some of the city's most stunning buildings, many of which were designed by Russian architect Mikhail Eisenstein, who incorporated elements from the National Romantic and Symbolism movements into his work too.
Your fascinating tour will come to an end around 2:30 pm at the Art Nouveau Museum located in Albert Street.
