We will hear all about the history of the ex-president of Israel, and of this park which was named in his honor and opened by his wife. At the same time, you will enjoy the breath-taking views of two of the natural wonders of the city - the beach of Botafogo and Sugarloaf Mountain.
Later in the tour, you will encounter a public school which was built in honor of Anna Frank and Chaim Weitzmann square, named in honor of the first president of Israel. We then visit the Jewish museum and the Grand Temple, an enormous building constructed in the first decades of the 20th Century to honor the Jewish community. We will tour the inside both venues to get a better understanding of the history and culture of Judaism in Brazil.
Finally, in the neighborhood Copacabana and Leblon, we will visit Jewish temples, such as the synagogues of Beth El and Beit Lubavitch. Our tour ends in the grounds of the Midrash Cultural Centre, which you can choose to visit at your own pace.
