If you're planning on visiting Paraty during your stay in Rio Janeiro, this transfer is perfect for you! You can book either a one-way or a return transfer to this charming seaside municipality.
Options
When booking your transfer to Paraty, you'll be able to choose from two different options:
One-way transfer
At your chosen time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro or the airport. From there, we'll take a comfortable minibus to Paraty, a small and beautiful town surrounded by mountains.
Did you know that Paraty is one of the oldest colonial towns in Brazil? You'll be able to relax on its paradisiacal beaches, explore the colourful streets of its National Heritage-designated historic centre and discover the colonial churches and mansions.
The pickup times and locations in Rio de Janeiro are the following:
- Hotels in the neighbourhoods of Copacabana, Leblon, Ipanema, Botafogo, Flamengo, Centro e Lapa: at 8:30 am, 12:30 pm or 5 pm.
- Hotels in Barra da Tijuca: at 11:30 am
If you're arriving in Rio de Janeiro by plane, we can come and pick you up:
- Galeão Airport: 9:30 am, 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 6:30 pm or at 9 pm. The meeting point will be "Casa do Pão de Queijo", in Terminal 2.
- Santos Dumont Airport: 9 am, 11:30 am, 2:30 pm or at 4:30 pm. The meeting point will be "Cafe Nescafé", next to the arrivals gate.
Return transfer
If you choose the return transfer option, the transport from Rio de Janeiro will be the same as the transport detailed above. For the return journey, you'll need to let us know the day and time you'd like to return (at 5 am, 8:30 am or at 12:30 pm) and the pickup point in Paraty.
Please note that this option is ideal for those who wish to spend one or more nights in Paraty, as it is not possible to return to Rio on the same day.
Schedule
The pickup times shown are approximate. On the day before the transfer, the local provider will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time corresponding to your chosen pickup point. You'll need to be ready and waiting at the requested departure point at the scheduled time.
Itinerary changes
Occasionally, the transfer will not be direct and a brief, technical stop will be made in Angra dos Reis before arriving in Paraty.
