At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel to start this tour of the best of Rio de Janeiro. Ready to discover its charm? Let's go!
We'll begin the morning by heading to Cosme Velho Station to board the famous Corcovado train. The train journey through the Rio jungle takes about 20 minutes and takes you to Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
Once there, you'll have free time to take memorable photos with this impressive monument, which is over 30 meters (98 ft) high. Afterwards, we'll continue the tour passing by the legendary Maracanã Stadium, a true icon of the city.
Next, we'll admire the exterior of the Sambadrome, where the thrilling Rio de Janeiro Carnival is held every February. From there, we'll head to the city center to visit the Metropolitan Cathedral, featuring a modern design inspired by Mayan pyramids.
In the center, we'll also see the colorful and world-famous Selarón Staircase, one of the city's most iconic landmarks. After this busy morning, we'll take you to a restaurant to enjoy a delicious rodizio-style lunch, an all-you-can-eat meat buffet. Bon appétit!
With our energy restored, we’ll end the day at Sugarloaf Mountain in the Urca neighborhood. To reach the top, we'll take two cable cars: the first to Morro da Urca and the second up to the summit of Sugarloaf, at a height of 395 m (1,296 ft).
Finally, we'll return to the starting point, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 8 hours.
This activity includes pickup from hotels located in the South Zone of Rio de Janeiro (starting from 6 am), in the Hotel Nacional Rio de Janeiro, and in Barra da Tijuca (starting from 6 am).
