On this guided tour of Saint John's, we'll discover the main attractions of the capital of Antigua and Barbuda and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Saint John's Guided Tour
We'll meet at 9 am at your hotel in Saint John's or at the pier where your cruise ship docks. From there, we'll set off on a walking tour of the capital of Antigua and Barbuda. Ready to see all the wonderful things this beautiful island nation has to offer?
We'll begin our guided tour of Saint John's with a stroll through the historic center of this colorful city, located on the island of Antigua. As we'll see during the tour, its streets display a mix of cultures between the British colonial legacy and the traditional Caribbean atmosphere so characteristic of the West Indies.
The first stop will be at the Museum of Antigua and Barbuda, where we'll learn about the history of the country. After discovering its past, we'll continue our tour of Saint John's by visiting the Anglican St. John's Cathedral. Then we'll go to the Cenotaph, a memorial dedicated to Antiguans who died serving in the First World War.
Finally, we'll go to a restaurant in downtown St. John's to recharge our batteries with a delicious lunch. The menu includes a choice of hamburger, chicken, fish or a hot dog, with fries.
After lunch, we'll walk with you back to your hotel or cruise ship, arriving at 12 pm.
Minibus tour
In case of heavy rain or bad weather, instead of a walking tour, we'll follow the same itinerary described in the previous section by minibus.
