Tour Details
Day 1
We'll meet at the indicated time at the main entrance to Puerto Bahía, in Samaná. From there, we'll make our way to the Marina, where the sailing boat will be waiting for us to take us on this exclusive trip around Samaná Bay and Los Haitises National Park. Let's set sail!
As we sail away from the coast, we'll admire how the Caribbean landscape becomes wider and wider and, when you least expect it, we'll anchor at the spot where we'll find a years-old sunken ship.
We'll give you the snorkelling equipment and set off to explore the remains of the ship, already covered in underwater flora. Tired after swimming? As a refreshment, we'll enjoy some soft drinks and snacks on board.
Then, we'll set sail in search of the paradisiacal Cayo Levantado and Playa Anadel beach. There, we'll disembark to enjoy this environment and practice snorkelling and kayaking in the crystalline waters, where we'll be able to see the coral gardens and the colourful little fish typical of the Caribbean.
Returning to the boat, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch on board. We'll taste moro de guandules al coco: a typical rice dish with a type of Dominican pea very similar to beans, grilled chicken, coconut fish and a fresh salad. Enjoy!
Finally, we'll sail towards Los Haitises National Park as the sun begins to set. It will be the perfect time to anchor in the secret corner of this marine park, where we'll have dinner and spend the night.
Day 2
We'll wake up nice and early in the morning and enjoy a delicious breakfast while the gentle morning sun begins to rise. Once we are ready, we'll start sailing back to the initial meeting point in Samaná, where we'll say goodbye at around 9 am.
