At the indicated time, we'll meet at 330 K Street, where we'll briefly explain how to use the bikes safely before getting started on our tour of San Diego!
We'll begin our tour by visiting the Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego's historic neighbourhood. As we pedal along, the guide will tell us a number of interesting facts about this district, which dates back to the mid-19th century, though was remodelled a century later.
From here, we'll head out into San Diego Bay, which will set the scene for discussion about the history of the USS Midway. In this area, we'll pass by the Bob Hope & the Military statue, which reflects the different uniforms of the American military from World War II to the first Persian Gulf War.
The next stop on the electric bike tour will be the famous Balboa Park, a huge green space that houses the San Diego Zoo, the Spanish Village Art Center and the Balboa House - a great place for nature and outdoor enthusiasts!
After this complete tour, we'll return to the starting point and end the electric bike tour of San Diego after 2.5 hours of activity. See you next time!
