Los Genoveses & Mónsul Beaches Off-Roading Tour
Tour Details
We'll meet on the Rambla de Los Frailes at the designated time and set off on this tour of Almería's pristine beaches in a convertible off-roading vehicle from the 80s. Let's go!
First, we'll drive through the village of San José and up to the Los Genoveses viewpoint. Did you know the film El Niño shot one of its most thrilling sequences right here? Our vehicle is fitted with TV screens where we can watch some of those scenes along the way.
We'll continue along the tracks through the upper part of San José, making our way to the spectacular, nature-surrounded beaches of the area, including Los Genoveses beach. Considered one of the best beaches in Spain, you'll have free time to take in this beautiful natural landscape.
We'll then stop at Mónsul beach and get out for photos and a look at the breathtaking views. This wild and untouched stretch of coastline was chosen by Steven Spielberg to film a scene in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. How could anyone resist the magnetism of this extraordinary place?
If you're visiting in summer, we'll give you a little free time at Mónsul to take a well-deserved dip in the sea.
Before heading back to the starting point, we'll make one final stop at Media Luna beach, the perfect way to round off the route. We'll wrap up the tour back at the starting point 2 hours later.
