At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at the meeting point in San José to begin this food tour. Are you ready to discover what Costa Rica tastes like?
During the tour, we’ll stroll through the city’s liveliest streets, stopping at street stalls, traditional bakeries, and family-run kiosks where locals go every day.
Throughout the tour, we’ll enjoy between 8 and 10 tastings of must-try Costa Rican dishes, such as golden empanadas, freshly made chorreadas, tamales made with regional recipes, and tortillas prepared on the spot.
Between bites, the local guide will explain the origins and cultural influences behind each dish, rounding out the tour with a traditional drink and a delicious surprise dessert.
Finally, we’ll say goodbye at the starting point after a 3-hour tour in total.
