Guided Tour of Santiago de Cuba
We'll enter the cradle of the Cuban Revolution on this guided tour of Santiago de Cuba, where we'll visit its main monuments such as the Cathedral or the Moncada Barracks.
Guided Tour of Santiago de Cuba
At 10 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Santiago de Cuba and go on a guided tour through the main streets of the second largest city in Cuba for 3 hours.
The tour will begin by walking through the historic center of Santiago de Cuba. First, we'll pass the Cathedral of Santiago de Cuba, whose origin dates back to 1514. Then, we'll contemplate the facades of several cultural spaces, such as the Carnival Museum, the Emilio Bacardi Museum, and the Casa de la Trova.
Next, we'll stroll along the Malecon and admire the views of the bay of Santiago de Cuba. Then, we'll walk to the City Hall and see the first Casa de América. We'll tell you what this building was used for in the 16th century!
We'll also talk about the Cuban Revolution as we walk through Abel Santamaría Historical Park and see the exterior of the Moncada Barracks. And, of course, here we'll talk about the infamous leader Fidel Castro.
Then, we'll walk along Las Enramadas Blvd, where you'll have time to see its shopping malls. And finally, we'll go to the emblematic Bodeguita del Medio, where we'll have a delicious mojito!
The guided tour of Santiago de Cuba will finish at Céspedes Park at 1 pm.
