At 10 am, we'll be waiting for you at the Sesimbra marina. There we'll board a boat for a three-hour ride through the Arrábida Natural Park and other hidden spots along the coast of Setúbal.
We'll sail along the imposing limestone cliffs covered by green fields of maquis and surrounded by the crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean, and we'll venture into some caves formed by the erosion caused by the waves.
Of course, we'll also visit Cape Espichel, the southernmost area of the Tagus River mouth, where we'll find a beautiful lighthouse dating back to 1790. Did you know that it was commissioned by the Marquis of Pombal?
During the cruise, we'll look out for dolphins that live in this area of the Portuguese coast. It's not uncommon for them to leap close to the boat to say hello, so keep your camera ready!
Lastly, at 1 pm, we'll end the private boat ride back at the departure dock.
Sunset cruise
This experience begins at 7 pm at the Sesimbra marina. There we'll board a boat to sail along the coastline of the Arrábida Natural Park at sunset.
We'll sail by the dreamy beaches of Ribeira do Cavalo and Mijona, the Gregorian gardens, Cape Espichel, and its colossal cliffs. The orange shades of the sunset light will be reflected on the rocks of the coastline creating an exceptional panorama. If you want, you can also take a relaxing swim in the beautiful water.
But that's not all! As the last rays of sunlight disappear on the horizon, we'll enjoy a tasting of the best wines from this region. At 10 pm, we'll end the activity by returning to the starting point.
