Russian Museum Guided Tour

In the Russian Museum you can find some of the most important artworks from the region. Founded when Tzar Nicholas II decided to pay homage to his father, Tzar Alexander II filling the museum with works from the Hermitage.

The museum today has more than 400,000 works of art bringing together works of art from a variety of periods. The Ninth Wave, the Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks, the Last Day of Pompeii and the Merchant's Wife at Tea are just some of the Russian masterworks that can be found.
