Stockholm Bike Tour
At 2 pm we'll meet at the bike shop in Kungsholmen, next to T-Centralum station, and get all the equipment ready to start exploring Stockholm by bike. Are you ready?
We'll start pedalling and make our first stop of the tour in front of the City Hall, one of the most representative buildings of the city. After enjoying the beautiful architecture and the beauty of the inner courtyard, we'll continue the tour through Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm.
Throughout the bike tour, we'll discover that this means of transport is widely used by the inhabitants of the Swedish capital. The bike lanes, wide pavements and green areas make Stockholm perfect for cycling.
Next, we'll head to the Ridderholmen Church, a red-brick church that serves as the pantheon of the kings of Sweden. After a brief overview of the history of this Nordic country, we'll cycle to Stockholm's Köpmanbrinken square, where we'll see the famous statue of George and the dragon.
During the bike tour of Stockholm, we'll also pass the Vasa Museum, Prince Eugen's Palace and the National Museum. Afterwards, we'll stop for a coffee and a sweet, a Swedish custom known as "fika".
Finally, we'll cycle back to the starting point and conclude the tour at 5 pm.
