Boat Ride Details
If you want to discover Stockholm by sailing along the Djurgården canal, this boat ride is the best way to discover the most beautiful areas in the city. At the time you select, you'll board the boat, and we'll depart from the pier and explore the so-called Royal Canal.
The island has belonged to the Royal Family since the 15th century and has been preserved as a tranquil, green haven on the edge of the capital. The Royal Canal was built in 1834 and commissioned by the Swedish king to improve access to the various parts of the island. From the boat, you'll admire emblematic sites like the Stockholm Palace.
During the boat trip along the Djurgården Royal Canal, we'll enjoy views of one of the most peaceful and pleasant areas of Stockholm. Thanks to the audioguides in English, you'll learn details about the buildings and monuments that we pass on this cruise along the Djurgården canal. On the island, there are parks and museums, such as Skansen and Vasa, boat wharfs, and lakes inhabited by herons and owls. Plus, you'll see the legendary theme park Gröna Lund or the coasts of the island of Södermalm, or the elegant neighborhood of Östermalm.
After 1 hour enjoying this peaceful, hidden corner far from the hustle and bustle of Stockholm, we'll return to the starting pier.
