Hicimos un paseo en barco por la ría muy bonito. El mar tenía bandera roja y había bastante oleaje. Tenía dudas sobre las indicaciones por otros comentarios pero si sigues el nombre de la empresa llegas sin problema y canjeas el bono en la taquilla. We took a very nice boat trip along the estuary. The sea was under a red flag and there were quite a few waves. I was unsure about the directions based on other reviews, but if you follow the company name, you'll get there without any problems and redeem your voucher at the ticket office. La actividad en si genial,los Mejillones buenísimos…pero lo que no puede ser es que en la reserva te indiquen que el lugar de encuentro es Calle Torrelavega 21,y allí no haya nadie,es una casa. Tienes apañártelas para localizar la empresa,que además al estar el puerto en obras ha cambiado su ubicación y nadie se dignó a comunicar ni enviar el nuevo punto de encuentro.

The activity itself was fantastic, the mussels were delicious... but what's not acceptable is that when you book, they tell you the meeting point is Calle Torrelavega 21, and there's no one there; it's a house. You'll have to figure out how to locate the company, which, due to the port being under construction, has changed its location, and no one has bothered to communicate or send the new meeting point.

Het aan boord gaan was een hele toer (via een hek er op klimmen) en voor een ouder stel onmogelijk - zij besloten niet mee te gaan. De tocht begon een dik kwartier te laat, omdat kennelijk de catering (drank en mosselen) niet op tijd kwamen. De boot was oud en luidruchtig. Wij hadden ook nog de pech van een ruwe zee, opstaan voor een leuke foto of om een mosseltje te pakken was bijna niet te doen. Toch een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding, immers € 13 is niet veel voor een vaartocht van een uur.

Boarding was quite a feat (climbing a gate) and impossible for an older couple, who decided not to go. The trip started a good fifteen minutes late because apparently the catering (drinks and mussels) didn't arrive on time. The boat was old and noisy. We also had the misfortune of rough seas, making it almost impossible to get up for a nice photo or to grab a mussel. Still, good value for money; after all, €13 isn't much for an hour-long boat trip.

La excursión por la ría de San Martín como tal perfecta no cuesta mucho teniendo en cuenta que el maravilloso paisaje siempre hará que sea perfecto. Sorprende que una de las indicaciones al empezar la visita es que no se puede fumar en el barco y los dos tripulantes iban todo el camino con el cigarro en la boca. Y que decir de una cata de mejillones que teníamos que hacer y ha sido inexistente sin darnos ningún tipo de explicación al respecto aunque el bono dice específicamente que la habra

The excursion along the San Martín estuary itself doesn't cost much, considering the wonderful scenery will always make it perfect. El paseo nos encantó: vistas preciosas, bien de espacio para sentarnos (y eso que éramos un grupo algo grande), personal majísimo, los mejillones estaban super buenos y la música de muy buen gusto. Viaje normalito. No te explican nada más que un audio pregrabado. No llegamos a salir a ver la isla de los conejos ni la playa de los locos, entendimos que era porque el mar estaba un poco picado, pero no nos dijeron nada. Estuvimos casi todo el rato por la ría, que no esta mal pero es bastante sin más. Te dejan repetir la ración de mejillones al vapor, vino y refresco. La higiene de la mesa nula, estaba pegajosa del viaje anterior.

We didn't get to go out to see Rabbit Island or Loco Beach; we understood it was because the sea was a bit rough, but they didn't tell us anything. We spent most of the time by the estuary, which isn't bad, but it's quite a lot. They let you repeat the portion of steamed mussels, wine, and soft drinks. The table was clean and nonexistent; it was sticky from the previous trip.
