The Taoyuan Airport MRT is a metro that connects the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to the main station in Taipei. With this ticket, you'll be in downtown Taipei in less than 40 minutes!
If you're traveling to Taipei and are unsure how to reach the city center from the airport, don't worry! With your ticket to the Taoyuan Airport MRT, you'll travel comfortably and quickly from the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport to the main station in Taipei.
Depending on the line you take, this journey only lasts between 40 and 55 minutes!
When booking, you can either select a one-way ticket from the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport or a round-trip ticket. If you like, you can also choose the Express Route, where you'll be taken directly to Taipei's main station, or the Suburban Train Route, which has stops in Taoyuan, New Taipei City, and Taipei City.
Please note that this ticket is valid only for non-Taiwanese citizens.
On the day of your metro trip, you'll need to redeem the voucher at the designated ticket desks at the Taoyuan Airport MRT to receive coins for accessing the metro. For more information on the locations where you can redeem your voucher, click on the following link:
Please note that the magnetic coin you'll receive must be validated within a month at most. Lost coins cannot be reissued.
