Chefchaouen & Tétouan Day Trip
Day Trip Details
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Tangier and head south. After an approximately 2-hour journey, we’ll arrive in Chefchaouen, the blue city of Morocco.
Once there, we’ll take a 2-hour walking tour. During this walk, we’ll explore the Medina of Chefchaouen and the Kasbah. We’ll also see the Great Mosque from the outside and, of course, stroll through the most picturesque streets of the city. A perfect opportunity to take photos next to its typical blue houses!
After the tour of Chefchaouen, you’ll have around 1 hour 30 minutes of free time to recharge. After lunch, we’ll take a 1.5-hour drive to Tétouan, the white city of Morocco. Once there, we’ll take a 1.5-hour guided tour of the historic center.
On this walking tour, we’ll explore the narrow streets of the Medina, declared a World Heritage Site. We’ll continue our walk in Mechouar Square, where we’ll see the Royal Palace from the outside. We’ll also visit other areas such as the Jewish quarter of Tétouan and the Spanish quarter, where the Church of Our Lady of Victories is located.
At the end of the guided tour of Tétouan, we’ll head back to your hotel in Tangier, where we’ll conclude this 11.5-hour day trip.
