With this 3-day tour through the valleys of Tarija we'll travel through beautiful meadows, fern forests and green pampas. And you can complete the experience with horseback riding, hiking trails and many more activities!
We'll pick you up at your hotel at 5 am to start this tour through the beautiful landscapes of the valleys surrounding Tarija. It's worth getting up early, you know what they say: The early bird gets the worm!
For three hours, we'll travel through Entre Rios and Valle del Medio, two of the valleys full of extensive meadows and lush forests that make up the province of Cercado. You'll be able to see the beautiful green of the meadows, mountains and pampas of these valleys.
We'll make stops along the way so that you can take a close look at this beautiful scenery and have a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to enjoy the surroundings, do some activities such as horseback riding, swimming in the river or hiking trails, and have dinner on your own in a local restaurant in the valley.
Finally, we'll transfer to the El Paraíso del Tordo resort, a farm located in the middle of a private reserve on the banks of the Salinas River, where we'll spend the night in comfortable rooms.
We'll wake up early to leave for Salinas, an area of green pampas and crystal-clear rivers. After a tour through its lush landscapes, we'll stop for a picnic lunch and continue touring this subtropical paradise.
After watching the different shades of the sunset over the mountains, we'll return to the lodge. For dinner, we recommend taking a taxi to the centre of Tarija to sample the local cuisine.
You know what they say, all good things must come to an end! On the final day, you'll have the morning free for a leisurely breakfast and a walk in the valley or simply relax in the eco-tourism complex, which has common areas and a pleasant environment for walking in the middle of nature. After lunch, we'll return to Tarija at a previously agreed time.
This tour includes two nights' accommodation at the Paraíso del Tordo ecotourism complex.
The tour includes pickup from hotels in the centre of Tarija. If your accommodation is outside the centre, you'll have to go to the meeting point located in Bolivar street.
