Depending on the agreed time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Tarija and transport you to a world-class experience in Bolivia's most prestigious home of wine.
We're going to learn everything there is to know about their famous wine!
Once we have all met up, we'll begin our tour with a first stop at the Valle de la Concepción, located a few kilometres away from Tarija, one of its most consolidated areas for wineries and vineyards. Did you know that these wineries are considered to be produced in some of the world's highest grape cultivating areas?
We'll discuss as well as investigate the different variations and strains of grape found in this region that are used to create these incredible wines. We'll understand how they became world renowned competition winners of various national and international prizes. A true testament to the quality of the cultivation processes of this very special region.
Depending on the availability, during the tour, we'll visit a local winery in order to learn the secret of their famous high altitude wines.
Thanks to a detailed master class, we'll discover the process of creating this high altitude wine and of course, we'll be able to try it all, thanks to a full tasting menu. The 4 types of wine will be accompanied by different varieties of cheese, ham, olives, sultanas and nuts.
After around 5 hours of touring the great facilities, we'll take you back to the hotel in Tarija.
