Hiking in the Neusa Reservoir

At the time of your choice, we'll meet at the Refugio del Neusa, located in the Colombian municipality of Tausa. There we'll start a hiking route along the Neusa reservoir, where we'll discover its marvellous natural environment!

We'll start the hike by climbing 500 metres (1640 feet) up a hill to the point where the route will begin. Let the adventure begin! First of all, we'll explain what the route will be like.

Trees, slopes, rocky and steep paths... During the walk, we'll learn all about the fauna and flora of this enclave. We'll also pass by some farms where we'll meet friendly pigs, chickens and horses. If we're lucky, we may even see birds such as hummingbirds and woodpeckers flying freely.

We'll not finish the hiking route without contemplating the landscape of the Neusa reservoir from a privileged place, at an altitude of more than 3400 metres (11154 feet)!

After an hour and a half, we will finish the hiking route at the starting point.
