Asakusa Guided Tour

  • 17 reviews | 332 travellers
The visit was good, there was not much explanation of the places in depth but the guide was attentive to us and always with a friendly attitude. Recommended to get to know the place and then return to the places of interest to enjoy them more calmly

Asakusa Guided Tour

We'll meet up at the designated time next to the Asakusa Station (Ginza line) to begin a walking tour of Asakusa, one of Tokyo's most traditional and historic neighborhoods.

During the tour of Asakusa, we'll immerse ourselves in its magical atmosphere, a blend of modernity and tradition, and visit the Sensō-ji Temple, the oldest and most important Buddhist shrine in the capital of Japan.

After visiting the temple, we'll head over to Nakamise Street with its more than 300 years of history, and Kappabashi Street, an avenue that will catch your attention with its many stalls full of kitchen utensils.

From here, we'll walk to the Kaminarimon Gate, whose name in English means Gate of Thunder. You can have your photo taken with the monument before we say our goodbyes after a total of 2 hours.

Kimono rental and tea ceremony

Want to complete your experience? If you opt for one of these activities, you'll be able to continue enjoying an authentic cultural immersion after the guided tour of Asakusa.

You can rent a typical Japanese kimono for an hour so that you can take amazing photos in them or enjoy a traditional tea ceremony for 45 minutes.

Timetable changes

If you book the guided tour and traditional tea ceremony option on a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, the tour will start at 10 am.
