Tour Options

When making your reservation, you can choose one of the following options:

• Panoramic Tour: includes a 1-hour route with no stops
• 24-Hour Ticket: a route with stops that also includes a guided walking tour of Toledo
• 24-Hour Ticket + Cathedral: includes the same features as the previous option plus a guided tour of Toledo Cathedral
• 48-Hour Ticket: a route with stops that includes the Toledo tourist wristband

Panoramic Tour: A Non-Stop Route around Toledo

This is a one-way route with no stops. This panoramic tour of Toledo takes place aboard a Big Bus open-top sightseeing bus, which departs from Cuesta de los Capuchinos, next to the famous Alcázar. Throughout the tour, you’ll learn about the city’s fascinating history through recorded commentary in English.

First, we’ll begin this panoramic tour by heading from the Alcázar of Toledo to the Puerta de Bisagra, one of the city’s main landmarks. From there, we’ll continue our open-top bus tour toward the train station, which stands out for its Neo-Mudéjar style.

After leaving the train station behind, we’ll continue the route, passing by other notable sites such as the Remonte de Safont and the Mirador del Valle, where you’ll enjoy extraordinary panoramic views of Toledo.

We'll then skirt the cigarrales on the banks of the Tagus River and pass by the iconic San Martín Bridge. From there, we'll cross Avenida de la Reconquista toward the Plaza de Toros and the monumental Hospital de Tavera.

Finally, after a 1-hour tour, we'll conclude this panoramic tour of Toledo by returning to the meeting point.

Schedule Info

The panoramic route of Toledo runs daily every 60 minutes at the following times:

• November through February: 10 am to to 6 pm
• March through October: 10 am to 7:30 pm

To complete the full one-hour tour and return to the starting point, you must board the bus before 6 pm during the off-season and before 7:30 pm during the high season.

Sightseeing Bus With Stops: 24 & 48-Hour Tickets

Depending on your preferences, you can opt for a 24 or 48-hour ticket:

Route & Stops

The Toledo sightseeing bus has 10 stops. You can complete the route in 50 minutes or hop on and off at any of the stops, exploring the city at your own pace aboard a double-decker open-top bus. Throughout the tour, you’ll enjoy recorded commentary in English about the sites you pass.

The Toledo sightseeing bus will allow you to visit the city’s must-see monuments, such as the Cathedral, the Puerta de la Bisagra, and the Hospital de Tavera. Plus, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Toledo with the Tagus River at its feet from the Mirador del Valle.

How Does it Work?

The ticket is valid for 24 or 48 hours from the first time you use it. For example, if you purchase the 24-hour ticket and it's first used on Monday at 3 pm, it's valid until Tuesday at 3 pm. During this time, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you want.

Although when you book, you'll be asked to select a start day, you can start using the service within 3 months of the selected date.

Schedule & Frequency

The Toledo sightseeing bus operates according to the following schedule:

• From February 20 to March 15: 10 am to 6 pm, with the last departure at 5 pm
• From March 16 to November 8: 10 am to 8:30 pm, with the last departure at 7:30 pm

Toledo Tourist Wristband

In addition, if you choose the 48-hour ticket, you’ll receive a tourist wristband that grants you access to seven monuments in Toledo. This wristband must be exchanged at the first monument you visit and is valid for seven days.

Toledo Guided Tour 

The Toledo tourist bus ticket includes a guided walking tour that starts every day at 1 pm and 4 pm from Plaza Zocodover. This option lasts 1.5 hours, and we'll tour the neighborhood of the sheds and the whole area of the convent of Toledo.

Guided Tour of Toledo Cathedral

If you choose this option, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of Toledo Cathedral. This tour departs daily at 4:15 pm from the traffic light next to the cathedral. The tour lasts approximately one hour.
