Discover one of Toronto's most famous neighbourhoods on this guided tour of the Distillery District - find out how this area got its name!

Discover the Distillery District

At the indicated time, we'll meet at 11 Gristmill Lane to begin our guided tour of one of Toronto's most famous neighbourhoods!

Over the course of this tour - which is considered to be one of the best in the city, we'll learn about the history of the Gooderham and Worts Distillery. As we pass by this historic building, we'll discuss the name of the neighbourhood and the importance of this factory in Canada.

Along the way, you'll have plenty of time to take pictures of the town's wonderfully photogenic Victorian-style industrial architecture. We'll also walk along Distillery Lane, the district's most famous road.

After about an hour's journey, we'll return to the meeting point to say our goodbyes.
