Spend a magical day enjoying one of the most famous natural wonders of the world: the breath-taking Niagara Falls. Explore the surrounding area and let yourself be captivated by the awe-inspiring waterfalls.
Niagara Falls Day Trip Itinerary
After meeting first thing in the morning at the Strathcona Hotel in Toronto, you'll board a bus in the direction of the world-famous Niagara Falls on the border of Canada and the United States. Throughout the journey, which lasts approximately one and a half hours, you'll be entertained with fascinating facts about the incredible natural jewel. Learn how tall the falls are, when they were discovered, and much more...
The first stop on your full-day trip will be the picturesque town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, where you'll have an hour of free time to explore "The Loveliest Town in Canada". Stroll along part of the Niagara Parkway, described by Winston Churchill as "the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world", which stretches from the river mouth in Niagara-on-the-Lake up to Fort Erie.
Visit the smallest chapel in the world - so tiny that many visitors have to duck to get through the door - before continuing your tour to a local winery. Here you'll have the opportunity to taste three local wines, including the "ice wine" for which Niagara is known.
Before leaving the town, you'll see the floral clock, one of Niagara-on-the-Lake's main attractions. You'll then return to the bus and set off for the short journey to your next destination: the magnificent Niagara Falls themselves.
The magnificent natural wonder is made up of three waterfalls: Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, and an enormous amount of water flows through them each second. You'll have around three hours of free time here to admire the legendary views and the surrounding area at your own pace.
At the end of the day, you'll return to Toronto, arriving back around 6 pm.
