At the scheduled time, we'll meet in the iconic Piazza Manfredi, just a few steps away from the Castle and the Cathedral of Trani, the main attraction of the city.
We'll delve into this imposing temple, the greatest masterpiece of Apulian Romanesque style, built on the shores of the sea between the 11th and 13th centuries. After admiring the details of its architecture, we'll continue our tour to the Giudecca, the ancient Jewish neighborhood of Trani.
Then we'll stroll through the streets of the medieval quarter as we discover the role of the Jewish community in the development of the city. Along the way, we'll come across the Synagogue of St. Anne to admire its breathtaking medieval facade.
Lastly, we'll conclude our tour with a tasting of aromatic oils.
