On this private tour of Trinidad, you can visit one of the most beautiful and colourful cities in Cuba with a guide exclusively for your group. Don't miss it!
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet in front of the Grand Iberostar Trinidad Hotel. From there, we'll begin a private tour of this city famous for its colourful colonial buildings. Ready to fall in love?
We'll begin our tour by walking through the cobblestone streets of Trinidad. The first stop will take us to the foot of the impressive San Francisco de Paula church, a historic site of Franciscan devotion in the heart of Cuba during the colonial era.
Next, we'll pass by the ruins of the Teatro Brunet and the Casa de la Cultura. There you're likely to see the odd local enjoying the contagious rhythm of salsa music. Later on, we'll head for the emblematic Plaza Mayor, the epicentre of Trinidad. There, you'll marvel at the majesty of the buildings surrounding it and explore the Amelia Pelaez Art Gallery.
Afterwards, we'll guide you to a very special place where you can taste the region's most iconic drink. Have you ever heard of the canchara? You'll love it! Before ending the private tour, we'll stop in front of the San Francisco de Asis church, an architectural jewel with its characteristic yellow tower, an icon of the city!
We'll finish the tour 3 hours later in the picturesque Plaza de Santa Ana. Here we'll see the remains of the former prison of the town.
