Tour Details
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up from your hotel and take a less than 20-minute drive to the first of the Ubud waterfalls we'll visit: Tegenungan. Let's go!
Upon arrival, we'll enter a natural sanctuary where water cascades down between lush green walls. There, you can walk among roots and moss, feeling the humidity typical of the region. The spray will mist you as the ground vibrates beneath your steps. Did you know Tegenungan’s flow changes drastically each week due to rainfall?
Next, we'll head to Tukad Cepung Waterfall, a hidden gem inside a canyon illuminated by vertical beams of light. During the visit, you'll descend some damp stairs and, upon arrival, you'll be able to admire how the sun enters diagonally, illuminating the mist. It'll be an almost mystical moment, ideal for immersing ourselves in its crystal-clear waters.
We'll continue to Tibumana Waterfall, known for its gentle, serene fall. Upon arrival, you can wander among large leaves, butterflies, and the scent of earth, or swim quietly while listening to the jungle echo around you. Did you know that Tibumana is known as the secret door waterfall because of an ancient Hindu legend?
At midday, you’ll have the option to visit nearby cafés around the waterfalls for lunch at your own pace.
Shall we continue? To complete the Ubud experience, we’ll explore the Tegallalang rice terraces. You can stroll along narrow paths winding through the fields, observing farmers working in harmony with water, a practice passed down for generations. This irrigation system, called subak, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Finally, we'll return to your hotel, concluding the tour 8 hours after pickup.
