Half-Day Tour (5 Hours)
After being picked up from your hotel, you'll begin your panoramic tour of Udaipur city centre. This route will take you to explore the most important monuments in the historic centre, including the beautiful City Palace and the famous Bagore Ki Haveli mansion. Learn who lived in these luxury residences thanks to your expert guide.
During your tour, you'll also enjoy a stroll along the banks of the Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lakes, where you'll explore the sacred waterside staircases known as ghats. Not far from here, you'll reach the picturesque Gulab Bagh Park, home to a statue of Mahatma Gandhi. Your half-day tour will end at the City Palace.
Full-Day Tour (8 Hours)
After following the same route as the half-day tour and exploring the city centre, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch (not included), before continuing your tour to Sajjan Garh, also known as the Monsoon Palace. As you take in the incredible panoramic views over the natural scenery surrounding the hilltop fortress, hear all about the fascinating history of the Mewar kingdom.
Continue visiting Udaipur's most interesting historic sites, including the Ahar Cenotaphs: the funerary monuments of more than 250 different Indian kings and rulers, known as maharajahs. You'll also explore the Shilpgram arts and crafts complex and discover more local handicrafts at the lively bazaars.
Full-Day Tour + Ekling Ji Temples (9 Hours)
Having explored all of the places visited on the full-day tour, you'll head to the immense temple complex of Eklingji, also called the Meera temple. This collection of over 100 active Hindu shrines is situated just 40 minutes from Udaipur. As you stroll amongst its intricately carved stone sanctuaries, you'll discover the traditions of both India itself and of its main beliefs and religions.
After making the most of the Eklingji complex, you'll be driven back to the City Palace in Udaipur, where your tour will end.
