Santos Juanes Church Tickets

The activity was worthwhile, but it was quite tedious waiting in line for over 15 minutes to get in, especially in the cold and rain. If the mass doesn't end until 1 p.m., entry should have been from 1:30 p.m. onwards, instead of having people waiting outside.

Santos Juanes Church Ticket

The Santos Juanes Church has always been a place of great importance for Valencian popular culture. Its origins date back to the 12th century, when a Christian chapel was established in this enclave after the Reconquest.

In the following years, this temple adopted the Gothic style, but it was not until the 18th century that it obtained its current, markedly Baroque appearance. This style can be seen in its three exterior doorways, with elaborate arches and porticoes characteristic of Valencian Baroque.

Thanks to an audio guide in English, you'll learn about the history of the temple and the events that took place inside it, such as the first sermon of Saint Vicente Ferrer in 1410. The site also houses other important features, such as the Pardal de Sant Joan, which is the main attraction.

Opening Hours

  • Monday & Tuesday: 10 am to 8 pm
  • Wednesday: 1 pm to 8 pm
  • Thursday & Friday: 10 am to 5 pm
  • Saturday: 11 am to 6 pm
  • Sunday: 1 pm to 8 pm

If you have chosen the option of admission without an audiovisual show, you may visit the Santos Juanes Church on the selected day during opening hours.

Audiovisual Show

If you would like to complete your visit to the Church of Los Santos Juanes, you can book a ticket that includes an audiovisual show featuring video mapping projection that digitally recreates the lost painting by Palomino. This experience allows you to admire the former Baroque splendor of Santos Juanes.

Through this experience, art, history, and technology come together to transform the apse into a canvas filled with color, light, and live music. This audiovisual show will let you delight in the grandeur of Valencian Baroque and relive the history of the church in an unforgettable way.

This option is only available at the following times:

  • Thursdays & Fridays: at 6 pm and 7 pm
  • Saturdays: at 10 am

If you have chosen the audiovisual show option, you'll need to arrive at the indicated time, after which you can continue exploring the Santos Juanes Church at your leisure.

Reduced Admission

This ticket is valid for people over 65 years of age, unemployed individuals, students under 25, and members of large families. Valid supporting documentation must be presented.
