At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Varna to begin this private walking tour where you'll explore the city in depth.
We'll start our tour by going to one of the largest and most famous monuments in Varna, the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin, which was built following the Russian Orthodox style. We'll then continue toward the Varna Museum of Archeology, which houses one of the most important collections in Bulgaria, featuring Thracian, Greek, and Roman pieces.
Our next stop will be at the Jardín del Mar, a vast park on the coast of Varna with views of the Black Sea. We'll continue our tour passing by the Roman thermal baths, which are the largest in the Balkans. This impressive complex of public baths was built in the 2nd century A.D.
Then, we'll visit the Varna Ópera Theatre, one of the city's main cultural centers, which is known for its Neo-Baroque style and excellent acoustics. Our last destination will be the Dormition of the Mother of God Cathedral, which will catch your eye due to its golden domes.
