Salto del Tigre Waterfall Hike

Between 9 and 9:30 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Villa de Merlo and drive to El Tono. This mountain outpost is located in between the Argentine provinces of San Luis and Córdoba.

When we get to El Tono, we'll set off on an easy 50-minute hike. Our hike will take us to the Salto del Tigre Waterfall, which is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in this province and towers at a height of 82 feet (25 metres). 

We'll explore the area around the waterfall to admire the scenery and take photos of our breathtaking surroundings. In addition, we'll hear some fun facts about this iconic waterfall, such as where its source is located. 

If we're lucky with the weather, you can go swimming in the Salto del Tigre Waterfall or paddle in the natural pools it flows into. We also recommend relaxing nearby to the soothing sound of the water falling in the middle of nature.

After walking around the waterfall, we'll have a picnic lunch in this delightful setting. We'll then walk back to the starting point of our hike and return to Villa de Merlo. Our arrival back at your hotel is scheduled for 5:30 pm.
