Barcelona Free Walking Tour

This tour will begin at Plaza de Cataluña Square, right in the heart of the Catalonian capital city. This 2-hour free walking tour around Barcelona will first take us on a stroll down Las Ramblas, one of the most famous streets in Barcelona (and probably the world) until we come to the Gothic Quarter. It's here where the ancient Roman Barcino first originated. This a neighbourhood full of secrets, legends, myths and a whole host of interesting historical and architectural features.

Upon entering the famous Gothic Quarter, we'll find ourselves truly immersed in Barcelona's medieval era. Here, we'll find some truly iconic spots such as Sant Jaume Square, home to the city's Town Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat, the Cathedral of Santa Eulàlia and its peculiar gargoyles, the King's Square (where they tried to assassinate Ferdinand II of Aragon), as well as the remains of El Call, the city's former Jewish Quarter.

The tour will then continue in the emblematic Born District, one of the city's most pleasant and upbeat neighbourhoods. Cafés, small boutiques and cocktails are littered around this area, making it a great place to relax and chill out. Here, you'll also find the mythical Cathedral of the Sea, which we'll visit to learn about its passionate history.

Finally, this tour will come to an end next to the Fosa de les Moreras after around 2 hours together.
