We will meet in the center of Trapani at the scheduled time. From there, we will head to the picturesque Stagnone Lagoon, only half an hour from Trapani.
Our guide will explain the history of this captivating region: the battles that have been fought there, its origins, and the importance of the salt trade in this area.
We will then board a boat to enjoy a boat ride on the lagoon of the Stagnone nature reserve. Along the route, we will sail through beautiful landscapes where you encounter idyllic islands such as San Pantaleo, Lunga, Schola, and Santa Maria.
Afterward, we will go to the salt mines of Ettore Infersa, where you will be amazed by the wonderful salt mounds and the traditional mill. There we will discover the process of obtaining salt, and enjoy a tasting of delicious local products: pistachios, almond creams, cheeses, and even chocolates and local wines!
After finishing our tour of the Stagnone salt pans, we will return to Trapani.
