Marina del Rey Kayaking Tour With Sea Lions
At the selected time, we'll meet at Marina del Rey and walk to Mother's Beach. There, we'll explain how to handle the kayaks, and then it'll be time to start our two-hour adventure in search of the sea lions.
We'll begin paddling around the port of Marina del Rey watching the fishing boats sail away as we go looking for the sea lions. These mammals tend to hang out on the docks, so it won't be too difficult to spot them. They'll welcome us enthusiastically with the loud grunts and growls they make to mark their territory.
During the tour, we'll likely encounter friendly dolphins and a variety of birds flying over the area. It's common to spot seagulls, pelicans, and hawks, among many other species, in this area.
Lastly, we'll kayak back to Mother's Beach, ending this amazing experience.
