Aigues-Mortes Towers & Ramparts
Explore the imposing stone fortress of Aigues-Mortes at your own pace and immerse yourself in the history of Medieval France. The Aigues-Mortes fortifications are made up of over 5,300 feet (1,634 metres) of defensive stone walls connecting twenty different towers, amongst which the Tour de Saint Louise and the Tour de Constance are particularly fascinating to visit, having been used to imprison French Protestants during the 17th century.
