Are you a fishing fanatic and find yourself travelling around Norway? Then this fishing activity on the Altafjord is perfect for you, Cast your line and see what you can catch!
On the day of the activity, at the scheduled time we'll meet at the Fiskerihavna (fishing harbour) in Alta. This liberating tour will allow you to disconnect from the stresses of daily life.
Once all the equipment has been organized, we'll be given a short introductory and safety chat and then set out onto the calm body of water that is the Altafjord. One advantage to fishing on a fjord is that it's a lot calmer than the coastline, so you'll be able to sit back, relax and catch some fish!
During the fishing experience, we'll fish for native Norwegian species such as cod, coalfish, haddock, redfish, and Atlantic halibut, to name but a few. Crew members can also accommodate special requests and set up specific equipment for you. If you have your own equipment, feel free to bring it along with you.
You'll even be able to catch your own dinner! Any fish you pull aboard that you might like to chow down on later on for dinner can be gutted and prepared by the accompanying captain. During this fishing activity, some light snacks will be available to you, as well as tea, coffee and water. Delicious!
After about 2 hours, this amazing Alta Fjord fishing experience will be brought to an end back at the starting point. Vi sees snart!
