Get your ski jacket on and make the most of your time in Bariloche, enjoying the snowy slopes of Cerro Catedral. If you have no previous experience then this is the perfect opportunity to learn this exciting winter sport.
Ski Class on Cerro Catedral
After collecting you from your hotel or another meeting point in Bariloche, we will head to the mountain of Cerro Cathedral, about half an hour away. A huge area of snow-covered slopes awaits us for a fun day of skiing.
Once at the summit, you will be fitted out with boots, sticks, and skis. Then for two hours, professional instructors will teach you how to balance and control yourself as you glide down the mountain slopes. They will give you instructions and advice which you will later put into practice. By the end of the activity, you will be sliding down the ski slopes unaided, without any difficulty.
In groups of up to 12 people, the instructors will show you how to use the sticks and maneuver the skis. You then have the opportunity to test your new skills on the slopes. You also have the chance to see the spectacular forests, ravines, and other natural off-piste areas which make up the Cerro Catedral mountain.
Cerro Catedral is the largest ski center in South America. 34 different ski lifts and more than 60 slopes and routes combine to make this a complex that both beginners and experts can easily enjoy. It also has the advantage of being located in some of Argentina's most spectacular landscapes.
We will finally return to Bariloche, where the trip ends.
Upon your arrival to Cerro Catedral, it is obligatory to rent the Keycard € 4 (US$ 4.90). The fee will be given back to you at the end of the day if you return the card in good condition.
