Sail along Nahuel Huapi lake and discover two of its natural jewels – Victoria Island and the Arrayanes forest located on the Quetrihué peninsula.
Victoria Island and Arrayanes Forest Day Trip
On the day of the excursion, we'll meet at your selected meeting point from 12:30 pm, or directly at the Puerto Pañuelo wharf at 1 pm. There, in the heart of the Llao Llao Peninsula, we'll board a boat and set sail on Lake Nahuel Huapi.
While on the hour-long boat trip, you'll have unforgettable views from the covered observation deck. White rugged Andean peaks, the blue tones of the glacial lakes of Patagonia… the surrounding landscapes are simply spectacular!
Our first destination will be the Arrayanes Forest on the Quetrihué peninsula. These distinctive myrtle trees with cinnamon tones form part of a UNESCO declared Biosphere Reserve. As we explore the forest, you'll discover why the trees are so typical of this beautiful region of Argentina.
We'll then sail onwards for half an hour to the pier of Puerto Anchorena, located on the beautiful Victoria Island. Here, we'll hop off the boat and embark on a 60-minute hike around the island, having the opportunity to discover its flora (eucalyptus, pine and redwood trees), and its wildlife (imperial shag cormorants and other incredible birds).
Once we've finished our route around Victoria Island, you'll have half an hour to have lunch (not included) before we head back to Puerto Pañuelo.
At the end of the day, we'll drop you back off at the original departure point between 6:30 pm and 7:15 pm.
