Step into a world where history and nature unite on this exclusive boat tour along the Magdalena River, one of Colombia's primary waterways, departing from Barranquilla!
Your adventure begins after we pick you up at your hotel in Barranquilla at your preferred time, and we'll head to the departure pier.
Once aboard the boat, you'll embark on an unforgettable boat ride along the Magdalena River. Your onboard guide will let you in on the river's history and the mesmerizing landscapes it unfolds, as this river is one of Colombia's most important.
As we navigate the waters, we'll pass beneath the impressive arches of the iconic Pumarejo Bridge. Did you know that this modern marvel was inaugurated in 2019? Our voyage continues along the Magdalena River until we reach Salamanca Island Park. Within this protected sanctuary, you'll encounter an abundance of native species, delving into its remarkable biodiversity.
The boat ride also provides an opportunity to appreciate the profound impact of the Magdalena River on local communities. While it may not be the longest river in Colombia, it holds a place of immense importance, having facilitated commercial and cultural exchanges between regional peoples since pre-Columbian times.
As our journey nears its end, we'll glide by the Malecón de la Avenida del Río, ultimately returning to the departure pier. From there, we'll take you back to your hotel, with an estimated arrival time of 2 hours after the initial pickup.
You can book up to 5 hours in advance if there are any seats left. Book now and guarantee your spot.
